Hi sweet friend,
September often brings change—the days grow shorter, the air cooler, and our rhythms shift with the season. Change can feel exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. In all of it, God’s peace remains the same.
Philippians 4:6–7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
📖 Bible Study Tip of the Week:
Peace doesn’t come from everything falling into place. Peace comes from the presence of Christ.
Here are 3 ways to invite His peace in changing seasons:
- Pause for Prayer – Whisper a simple prayer: “Lord, calm my heart today.”
- Anchor in Scripture – Post one verse (like Philippians 4:7) where you’ll see it often. You can use this page to color and post somewhere.
- Give Thanks – Gratitude is a pathway to peace. List 3 things you’re thankful for at the end of the day.
No matter how many things shift around you, you can find stillness in the One who never changes.
🎨 Kids' Corner:
Teach your children that God offers peace when they feel worried too!
Verse:“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You” (Psalm 56:3).
Activity:
- Write the verse on a card and let kids decorate it with markers or stickers. Or have them decorate this page of Psalm 56:3.
- Keep it in a spot they’ll see often—on the fridge, by their bed, or taped to a notebook.
Prayer: “Jesus, when I feel scared or nervous, please help me to remember You are with me. Thank You for giving me peace.”
🙏 Family Faith Focus:
This week, take a family “Peace Walk.”
Go outside together and look for things in creation that remind you of God’s peace (a still pond, a quiet breeze, a steady tree). Share how each one points to God’s unchanging nature.

Remember: it’s okay to release what you can’t control. God is not asking you to carry it all. He offers His presence, His strength, and His peace right where you are.
