Hi friend,
Have you felt the shift in the air lately? Cooler mornings, golden evenings, and the slow turn of leaves all remind us that change is part of life. Some seasons arrive with excitement; others bring uncertainty.
But here’s the good news—our God never changes. His character, love, and promises remain constant, even when everything else feels in motion.
📖 Bible Study Tip of the Week:
Hebrews 13:8 tells us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
While life moves through seasons of growth, waiting, and even loss, God’s faithfulness anchors us. The same God who guided you last year is guiding you now. The same God who provided before will provide again. The same God who heard your prayers yesterday still listens today.
When we rest in the unchanging nature of God, we find stability in every new season. His steadfastness becomes the calm in our chaos.
Here are three ways to remember His faithfulness this week:
- Look Back: Write down one way God has been faithful to you in the past.
- Look Around: Notice how His creation reflects order and constancy—sunrises, stars, seasons.
- Look Ahead: Trust that the same God who’s been with you will lead you into what’s next.
🎨 Kids' Corner:
Verse:“I the Lord do not change.” (Malachi 3:6)
Activity:
- Draw a picture of your favorite season—spring, summer, fall, or winter.
- Talk about what changes during that time (weather, colors, activities).
- Then write, “God stays the same!” at the bottom to remind your child that while everything changes, God’s love and power never do.
Prayer:
“Dear God, thank You for being the same every day. Help me trust You no matter what changes around me.”
🙏 Family Faith Focus:
At dinner or bedtime, take turns sharing something that changed recently—maybe a new schedule, new friends, or a new challenge. Then, as a family, say together:
“God, You never change. We can trust You through it all.”
This small reminder helps kids (and parents) connect their daily lives to God’s unchanging nature.
🌻 Just for You:
Friend, if life feels uncertain or new, remember that the One who began His good work in you will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6). You don’t need to have everything figured out. Rest in the steady hands of a faithful God.
