Hello from Storeroom Treasures

Hello, friends!

September is here! There’s something about the beginning of fall that always feels like a fresh start. New routines are settling into place, school is underway, and maybe—just maybe—we’re beginning to find our rhythm again.

So this month, I wanted to share a little encouragement with you...and something brand new I’ve been working on!

Seek Him

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”
— Jeremiah 29:13 ESV

We spend a lot of time teaching our children about God. We tell them Bible stories, help them memorize verses, take them to church, and answer the many, many questions they come up with.

But ultimately, we want them to do more than simply know facts about God.

We want them to seek Him for themselves.

That doesn’t have to begin with an hour-long Bible study or a complicated routine. It can begin with something small: reading a few verses together, talking about what they mean, memorizing one line of Scripture, or even working through a Bible puzzle that sends them searching for an answer in God’s Word.

Those little moments matter.

As we settle into new routines this September, look for simple ways to point your children back to Scripture—not just so they can find the right answer, but so they can grow to love the One who gave us His Word.

Something New Is Coming!

Speaking of getting kids into God’s Word...I’ve been working on a brand-new Bible puzzle book!

This one is being created especially for kids around ages 10–12. The puzzles give kids a chance to think, solve, search, and interact with biblical truths in a fun way.

And younger kids don’t have to miss out! Some of the puzzles may be a little challenging for them on their own, but they can absolutely work through them with the help of a parent, older sibling, or friend.

The book is still a work in progress, but I thought—why wait until it’s finished to share the fun?

So I’ve put together the first four puzzles for you to download and try!

I’d love for you to print them out, hand them to your kids, and see what they think.

And if your kids enjoy them, I’d love to hear about it! Their feedback may even help me as I continue creating the rest of the book.

I hope these puzzles add a little fun to your Bible time this month and, most importantly, encourage your kids to keep opening God’s Word and discovering what He has to say.

Keep reading your Bible,

Jamie at Storeroom Treasures
